Snoop Dogg to perform at 2025 Illinois State Fair

Another major musician has been announced as a Grandstand headliner at the Illinois State Fair.
Snoop Dogg, the American rapper who has sold over 37 million albums worldwide and released 20 studio albums since 1993, will perform in Springfield on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
Tickets range from $85 to $165 and go on sale March 15 via Ticketmaster.
The rapper previously took the stage at the Illinois State Fair in 2019.
Jerry Costello II who is the Illinois Department of Agriculture Director, said in a press release that Snoop Dogg is a "crowd favorite with incredible energy."
Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark also noted that the rapper reaches music fans from multiple generations.
Who else is performing?
The fair so far has announced five Grandstand headliners, meaning they will announce five more.
Sheryl Crow, Turnpike Troubadours, Def Leppard, and Megan Moroney been announced to perform.
