In a landmark collaboration, QNET, a leading lifestyle and wellness direct-selling company operating in over 25 countries, and the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) have officially launched a strategic partnership aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, enhancing tourism, and driving sustainable economic development in Ghana.
The announcement was made at a high-profile press conference in Accra, attended by key stakeholders, media representatives, and industry leaders.
Mr. Naresh, Chief Executive Officer of The V Global Management, expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership in his opening address, highlighting Ghana’s potential as a hub for business, leadership development, and global entrepreneurship.
He said, “Today marks a defining moment for us as we stand together with the Ghana Tourism Authority, an institution that has played a crucial role in positioning Ghana as a top sustainable tourism destination. By leveraging our direct-selling model, we aim to provide Ghanaians with accessible entrepreneurial opportunities that integrate seamlessly with the country’s tourism industry. This collaboration is about more than business—it’s about fostering economic empowerment, community upliftment, and global recognition of Ghana’s potential.”
V-Africa, a premier leadership and entrepreneurship platform, has consistently provided individuals with opportunities to leverage the power of e-commerce to transform their lives.
The initiative aims to support 5,000 entrepreneurs over the next three years through training and digital business platforms, expanding access to sustainable income opportunities.
“Through V-Africa, many have risen as global entrepreneurs, optimizing the potential of our business model to access opportunities beyond borders. This partnership will enable us to scale our impact further, fostering transformation and sustainable success,” Mr. Naresh added.
Chief Marketing Officer of QNET, Trevor Kuna, reaffirmed QNET’s commitment to ethical business practices and compliance in Ghana and across Africa.
“We believe in equipping individuals with the right knowledge, skills, and tools to become successful entrepreneurs. QNET remains committed to strict regulatory compliance and consumer protection laws, working closely with Ghanaian authorities to ensure ethical direct-selling practices. This collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority strengthens our resolve to create meaningful impact through responsible business practices and economic participation,” stated Mr. Kuna.
Efua Houadjeto, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, emphasised the importance of such strategic partnerships in promoting Ghana as a prime destination for business and investment.
“Beyond its rich cultural heritage, Ghana offers vast opportunities for business and entrepreneurship. Through this partnership, the Ghana Tourism Authority and QNET are committed to enhancing our tourism landscape while empowering individuals with the skills and resources they need to thrive,” she remarked.
This collaboration aligns with Ghana’s broader vision for economic growth and sustainable development. Ghana ranks as one of the top entrepreneurial ecosystems in Sub-Saharan Africa, with policies supporting small business growth and investment attraction (World Bank, 2022). By strengthening public-private partnerships like this, the country continues to position itself as a preferred destination for global business and tourism.
The QNET-Ghana Tourism Authority partnership is expected to pave the way for future collaborations that will further solidify Ghana’s reputation as a hub for innovation, tourism, and entrepreneurship.
