UPDATE: NTSB releases preliminary report on the deadly plane crash that happened on September 23rd.
According to the accident preliminary report, a Cessna 150G took off from Drake Field after dusk. The pilot would be flying by sight without radar. The report stated the conditions were clear, the pilot left without a flight plan with the destination of Aero Country Airport in McKinney Texas.
According to the accident preliminary report, the plane flew under the radar coverage. It would be found near Prairie Grove after the plane struck trees.
The report stated "Initial impact signatures were consistent with the airplane colliding with trees and impacting terrain in a nose low altitude."

Authorities say one person was killed after a single-engine airplane crashed in northwest Arkansas late Monday.
A preliminary report from the Federal Aviation Administration says the Cessna 150 was destroyed when it crashed near Prairie Grove, about 140 miles (225 kilometers) northwest of Little Rock. The FAA report says the pilot was the only person aboard, and that no one was injured on the ground.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office identified the pilot as 17-year-old Gabriel Hatton of McKinney, Texas.
